Mother's Day is a time of commemoration and celebration for Mom. Mother's day although intially was celebrated by the Greeks, it became more popular in the United States in 1872 and is now being celebrated by many countries including India. Afterall Mother's are our first love and she deserves a day to be pampered for all that she does for us the whole year.

While many countries of the world celebrate their own Mother's Day at different times throughout the year, but most countries celebrate Mother's Day on the second Sunday of May.
